Is acupuncture safe for my pet?                                                                                                                                                                   Yes, acupuncture is very safe when performed by a properly trained veterinary acupuncturist. Most common side effects are drowsiness and mild lethargy for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.

Will acupuncture hurt my pet?
No, some patients experience mild discomfort as needles are placed, but most pay little attention and many fall asleep by the end of the appointment.
