Dr. Walker is a native to Arizona. He graduated from veterinary school at Colorado State University in 1990. After graduating he came back to Arizona and practiced in Northern Arizona for 7 years. In December of 1997 he opened Bradshaw Mountain Animal Hospital. Dr. Walker's medical interests are in surgery, orthopedics, ultrasound and he also treats our exotic patients. Dr. Walker has been volunteering for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race every March since 2005. Dr. Walker lives in Dewey with his wife and numerous animals. His interests include spending time with his family, photography, outdoor activities, camping, hunting, and travel.
Dr. Runge graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Prior to attending veterinary school, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. Dr. Runge is certified in mixed animal Acupuncture and has special interests in integrative medicine, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and ultrasound evaluations. She spent her first two years practicing in Payson, AZ. In her spare time, Dr. Runge loves to cuddle with her five cats and one dog. Dr. Runge grew up on 80 acres in Arkansas where she developed her love for animals and the outdoors. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, traveling, kayaking, hiking, fishing, hunting, and exploring the beautiful outdoors.
