Cardiology

Here at Bradshaw Mountain Animal Hospital we offer basic echocardiology and diagnostics.

Radiology: Xrays of the heart to evaluate size, shape and pathology of the heart and lungs.

Echocardiology: The examination of the heart structure and function using an ultrasound. High sound wave frequencies are used to produce live images of heart. This gives our veterinarian the tools to see how well a patient's heart is functioning and look for any abnormalities. Echo Echo

NT-ProBNP and Tnl: In-house tests used to check the heart function. These tests check the enzyme levels of the heart to detect early to onset heart failure and other abnormalities.

Cardiology diagnoses can be overwhelming, here at Bradshaw Mountain Animal Hospital we are here to help your pet along the journey from basic echocardiograms, testing and medication therapy. Consultations with a board-certified radiologist and cardiologist are possible. There also may be times our veterinarian recommends your pet see a board-certified cardiologist for more advanced care. If this is needed we will help with the referral process.
